The Corporate Inventory Manager is responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures for inventory control. Ensures optimal inventory levels, maintains accurate records, and works with sales branch offices to support the fulfillment of customer orders.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain or related fields
- Multi-Site Inventory Management experience
- Approves customer order proposals in the company’s supply chain management system.
- Manages the allocation of inventory among branches.
- Ensures complete and accurate inventory records.
- Generates sales and inventory reports for branches.
- Maintains annual product demand in the company’s supply chain management system.
- Ensures accuracy of company pricing documents.
- Responsible for the creation of new product lines and part numbers in the company’s supply chain management system.
- Provides physical inventory support to the branch locations. May include travel to branches for onsite assistance.
- Ensures the accuracy of and provides reporting on open purchase orders.
- Reviews and dispositions slow moving material at branch locations as well as the mill.
- Resolves shipping issues.
