We are seeking a Warehouse Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various warehouse duties including picking, packing, and shipping/receiving tasks. This role requires the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts.
Responsibilities:
– Perform picking, packing, and shipping/receiving tasks efficiently
– Handle heavy lifting of packages and materials
– Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely
– Maintain inventory accuracy by organizing stock and conducting regular counts
– Assist in loading and unloading shipments
– Ensure all orders are processed accurately and in a timely manner
Experience:
– Prior experience in a warehouse setting is preferred
– Familiarity with warehouse operations such as order picking, packing, and shipping/receiving
– Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
– Experience operating forklifts or willingness to learn
– Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment maintenance is a plus
– Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
– Ability to work effectively in a team environment
