Social Media Manager
A leading manufacturer in the outdoor recreation industry is seeking a creative, strategic, and data-driven Social Media Manager to lead the development and execution of organic and paid social media strategies, influencer partnerships, and digital campaigns.
This role will play a key part in building brand awareness, engaging online communities, and supporting retail partner success through compelling digital content and performance-driven marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Social Media Strategy & Content
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Plan and manage a content calendar aligned with brand campaigns, product launches, and seasonal initiatives.
- Create engaging platform-specific content including images, short-form video, graphics, and promotional assets.
- Monitor social media trends, competitor activity, and audience engagement to keep content fresh and relevant.
- Identify opportunities for real-time engagement and trending conversations.
- Engage directly with followers by responding to comments, messages, and mentions to build a strong online community.
Paid Social & Digital Campaigns
- Develop, manage, and optimize paid social and digital media campaigns to drive brand awareness, website traffic, and qualified leads.
- Partner with internal teams to support product launches, marketing campaigns, and promotional initiatives.
- Work with external agencies to plan and execute digital advertising campaigns.
- Test and optimize creative, audiences, messaging, and placements to improve campaign performance and reduce acquisition costs.
- Ensure paid campaigns align with brand guidelines and digital best practices.
Influencer & Partnership Marketing
- Lead the development and management of influencer and creator partnerships to support brand growth.
- Identify and onboard relevant content creators, industry reviewers, and brand ambassadors.
- Manage influencer campaigns including contracts, content approvals, usage rights, and performance tracking.
- Ensure partnerships align with brand values and deliver measurable impact.
Analytics & Performance Reporting
- Track and analyze performance across organic and paid social media campaigns.
- Monitor key metrics such as engagement, CTR, CPC, ROAS, impressions, and conversions.
- Develop monthly performance reports highlighting insights, trends, and opportunities for optimization.
- Use analytics to continuously refine content strategy and campaign effectiveness.
Retail Partner Enablement
- Develop social media toolkits and best-practice guides to support retail partner marketing efforts.
- Host training sessions or webinars to educate partners on effective social media strategies.
- Provide templates, hashtags, and campaign guidance to help partners amplify brand messaging locally.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in social media marketing, digital marketing, or content strategy.
- Strong knowledge of major social platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X.
- Experience managing paid digital campaigns using platforms such as Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, or similar tools.
- Proven ability to develop engaging content and digital campaigns.
- Strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills.
- Experience with social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer, or Sprinklr.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to improve marketing performance.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Interest in emerging marketing tools and technologies, including AI-powered marketing platforms.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to travel approximately 20%, including occasional weekends.
- Comfortable appearing on camera and capturing live content.
- Occasional social monitoring during weekends or holidays.
- Ability to spend time in production or operational environments.
- Hybrid schedule with approximately four days per week in the office.
