Primary Responsibilities
Value Creation & Business Partnership
- Act as a proactive finance partner to General Managers and regional operations leadership, with a strong bias toward margin improvement, cost discipline, and cash generation
- Translate financial results into clear operational drivers, trade‑offs, and corrective actions
- Support value‑creation initiatives including productivity improvements, pricing discipline, footprint optimization, and working capital reduction
Financial Reporting & Close
- Own accurate and timely monthly close for both sites, meeting aggressive PE reporting timelines
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and company policies
- Prepare site financial statements, variance analysis, and management reporting packages
Cost Accounting & Manufacturing Finance
- Oversee cost accounting activities including standard cost development, BOM accuracy, labor and overhead absorption, and inventory valuation
- Analyze manufacturing variances (labor, material, overhead, scrap) and partner with operations to drive corrective actions
- Support inventory management, cycle counts, and physical inventories
Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning
- Lead annual operating plan budget and rolling forecast processes for assigned sites
- Develop clear, bottoms‑up forecasts tied to production volumes, labor plans, and material assumptions
- Highlight risks, opportunities, and corrective actions to maintain forecast accuracy and credibility
Internal Controls & Compliance
- Drive working capital performance, including inventory turns
- Maintain strong internal controls in alignment with PE governance expectations
- Support external audits, internal audits, and periodic reviews
Team Leadership & Accountability
- Lead and develop site accounting staff, setting clear expectations and operating cadence
- Instill ahigh‑performance, ownership mindset focused on results, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Actively coach plant leaders on financial acumen and decision‑making
Systems, Scalability & Growth
- Ensure effective use of ERP systems and standard financial processes across sites
- Support integration activities related to acquisitions, system implementations, or carve‑outs
- Build scalable, repeatable finance processes that support growth and future transactions
Requirements
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 7+ years of progressive manufacturing finance or accounting experience
- Strong bias for action and comfort operating in pace‑driven environments
- Ability to challenge the status quo and elevate plant financial discipline
- Clear communication with executive leadership and ownership stakeholders
- Ownership mindset with focus on EBITDA, cash, and operational transparency
- Strong cost accounting and inventory management expertise
- Proven experience partnering with plant operations leaders
- Advanced Excel skills and ERP system experience(GlobalShop and/or E2 strongly preferred)
Preferred
- CPA or CMA
- Experience in a private equity–backed manufacturing environment
- Multi‑site manufacturing support experience
- Exposure to M&A integration, carve‑outs, or rapid-growth environments
