What You’ll Do:
- Lead and Inspire: Manage and mentor a team, driving performance through coaching, development, and collaboration.
- Strategize and Optimize: Develop innovative purchasing strategies that align with company goals, reduce costs, and enhance supplier relationships.
- Analyze and Report: Track and present key purchasing and inventory metrics, using data to make informed decisions.
- Collaborate and Innovate: Partner with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and implement system automation for maximum efficiency.
- Drive Results: Maintain supplier relationships, negotiate pricing, and resolve escalations to keep operations running smoothly.
- Ensure Excellence: Conduct audits to guarantee compliance with purchasing terms and conditions while upholding the highest standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: 5+ years in purchasing or a related role, with 3+ years in a supervisory capacity.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications: Professional certifications in purchasing or supply chain management are a plus (e.g., CPP, APICS).
- Skills: Proven leadership abilities, strong negotiation and analytical skills, attention to detail, and advanced proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
- Mindset: A proactive problem-solver with the ability to build strong supplier relationships and manage the entire supply chain within a commodity.
