Maintenance Technician
To perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the company’s industrial plant and related duties as assigned under the Maintenance manager’s close supervision.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Ensure all equipment preventative maintenance is being completed as assigned.
· Ensure records of all work done is being properly documented.
· Facilitate the Completion of equipment repairs in a timely manner.
· Help identify inefficiencies throughout the plant.
· Perform work in a neat and orderly manner.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Highschool Degree, Diploma, or GED
· 2-3 Years of experience as a maintenance lead
· High degree of mechanical aptitude that pulls from years of experience
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Good problem solving and decision-making skills
· Good working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
· Ability to work as a team
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
· While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift 50 pounds and/or move up to 100 pounds.
