CNC Machinist-2nd Shift
Salary Range: $28.00 to $40.00 Hourly
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist (Mid-Level) to join our team. In this role, you will operate, set up, and troubleshoot CNC machines to produce high-precision parts. This is a key position where you will ensure that all projects are completed efficiently, with attention to detail and adherence to strict quality standards.
This role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of CNC machines (milling, lathe) and gain exposure to advanced manufacturing techniques. Additionally, we are looking for candidates interested in stepping into a Team Lead role, providing technical direction, mentoring junior staff, and managing projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC machines (milling, lathe) to produce precision parts.

Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.

Inspect finished parts for quality and precision using a variety of measuring tools.

Troubleshoot and resolve machine and tooling issues to maintain smooth operations.

Ensure parts meet quality standards and adhere to specifications.

Team Lead (optional): Oversee a team of machinists, providing technical direction and ensuring smooth project execution.

Team Lead (optional): Manage project timelines and workflow while ensuring the productivity and development of the team.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in CNC machining is a plus.

3–5 years of experience operating and setting up CNC machines in a manufacturing environment.

Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, CAD models, and technical specifications.

Experience with CNC setup, programming, and troubleshooting for various CNC machines (milling, lathe, etc.).

Advanced machining skills, including expertise in milling, turning, and precision machining.

Proficiency in CAD/CAM software is highly desirable.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to quickly resolve machine issues.
