Primary Responsibilities

Value Creation & Business Partnership

  • Act as a proactive finance partner to General Managers and regional operations leadership, with a strong bias toward margin improvement, cost discipline, and cash generation
  • Translate financial results into clear operational drivers, trade‑offs, and corrective actions
  • Support value‑creation initiatives including productivity improvements, pricing discipline, footprint optimization, and working capital reduction

Financial Reporting & Close

  • Own accurate and timely monthly close for both sites, meeting aggressive PE reporting timelines
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and company policies
  • Prepare site financial statements, variance analysis, and management reporting packages

Cost Accounting & Manufacturing Finance

  • Oversee cost accounting activities including standard cost development, BOM accuracy, labor and overhead absorption, and inventory valuation
  • Analyze manufacturing variances (labor, material, overhead, scrap) and partner with operations to drive corrective actions
  • Support inventory management, cycle counts, and physical inventories

Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning

  • Lead annual operating plan budget and rolling forecast processes for assigned sites
  • Develop clear, bottoms‑up forecasts tied to production volumes, labor plans, and material assumptions
  • Highlight risks, opportunities, and corrective actions to maintain forecast accuracy and credibility

Internal Controls & Compliance

  • Drive working capital performance, including inventory turns
  • Maintain strong internal controls in alignment with PE governance expectations
  • Support external audits, internal audits, and periodic reviews

Team Leadership & Accountability

  • Lead and develop site accounting staff, setting clear expectations and operating cadence
  • Instill ahigh‑performance, ownership mindset focused on results, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Actively coach plant leaders on financial acumen and decision‑making

Systems, Scalability & Growth

  • Ensure effective use of ERP systems and standard financial processes across sites
  • Support integration activities related to acquisitions, system implementations, or carve‑outs
  • Build scalable, repeatable finance processes that support growth and future transactions

Requirements

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 7+ years of progressive manufacturing finance or accounting experience
  • Strong bias for action and comfort operating in pace‑driven environments
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and elevate plant financial discipline
  • Clear communication with executive leadership and ownership stakeholders
  • Ownership mindset with focus on EBITDA, cash, and operational transparency
  • Strong cost accounting and inventory management expertise
  • Proven experience partnering with plant operations leaders
  • Advanced Excel skills and ERP system experience(GlobalShop and/or E2 strongly preferred)

Preferred

  • CPA or CMA
  • Experience in a private equity–backed manufacturing environment
  • Multi‑site manufacturing support experience
  • Exposure to M&A integration, carve‑outs, or rapid-growth environments
